This means the game took three years to sell another three million units. It is also worth noting that its total audience could be larger since it is also available on Game Pass.

Frostpunk currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 92% of the 85.3k user reviews being positive. According to SteamDB, it also peaked at over 29k concurrent players at launch, still averaging around 4-5k peak CCU every day.

This makes Frostpunk the most played game developed or published by 11 bit studios. It is followed by This War of Mine (9.5k CCU), Moonlighter (6.2k CCU), Children of Morta (4.3k CCU), and Anomaly 2 (3k CCU).

Right now, 11 bit studios is gearing up for the launch of Frostpunk 2, the long-awaited sequel coming out on July 25 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Set 30 years after the apocalyptic storm, it will also feature the new sandbox mode called Utopia Builder.
